What the NY Times thinks of your F-150

Sorry, done with my rant now........

It's obvious they support terrorism. When was the last time they actually reported the good things that was happening over in Iraq. The terrorist want to demoralize us, by chopping off heads, and blowing up buildings, they want us to believe that we would be better off if we just left their country and let them do as they please.
Guess what... that's exactly what the NY Times thinks to. They report only the negative and disturbing news that comes from Iraq, to demoralize us, and our efforts over there. They want our troops out of Iraq, and further more...they want us to loose. WHY?? Because it fits their agenda. The liberal one.
Make no mistake, the NY Times (and it's probably safe to say all the other major news outlets, with exception to a few) is not on our side. They are on the liberal side, which just so happens to be on the side of terrorism.

WOW its as if Fox News and misinformation has invaded f15online.
reading the above ....
....I thought something was a little strange, as if I read that earlier today about the Honda Ridgeline.
From "2006 Honda Ridgeline: Ikea or Bust: A Pickup Dares to Try on a White Collar" by JERRY GARRETT of the NYT
"They are probably right. If there is a law that says a pickup must be grossly oversized, overcapable and overpriced, as well as dodgy to drive, fuel-inefficient, unreliable, not particularly crashworthy and politically incorrect, then I would agree: the nonconforming Ridgeline is guilty as charged.
INSIDE TRACK: Honda successfully rustles some sacred cows. Yee-haw!"
So not only is the quote that you all use to bash the NYT taken out of context and used to "bash" the F150 on ergo give the NYT a good kick, it is also taken out of context as a quote for a POSITIVE review.
You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Be freakin' critical of what you read once in a while. Its the internet afterall.NYT Ridgeline Article

"The paper says Blair, 27, faked stories and quotes, plagiarized other publications and filed fake expense reports to make it appear he was traveling on assignment when he was actually at his home in Brooklyn."
Maybe they have another reporter that was just "borrowing the quotes" about the Ridgeline and that's why you saw it in another place?
I don't want access to the NYT so I didn't bother to search their site to find the quotes.

This is such a non-issue I can't believe it generated this much noise here.
The reality is, the NYT is a big paper, with large resources, and generally does a good job in fact checking (compared with others.)
For the general readership of that paper, the F-150 is exactly all the things it indicates. It would be an absolutely crappy vehicle for getting around Manhattan. Seriously. _I_ would prefer something else as well. So the paper's report should come as no surprise, nor should we consider injury done as it reported fairly and with their _GENERAL_ readership's interest's in mind.
NYC, as important a market as it is, is not representative of my lifestyle or my interests. I respect their desire to pursue their own interests, and I'll defend their right to pursue their interests (and, of course, mine) with the very weapons that they so dislike.
Summary: If you can't stand that other folks don't think exactly as you do, stop reading their communication channels. It just causes unnecessary heartburn.

If I were you I'd be careful about using the term 'midget'.
I used it here and got a ton of hatemail from them.
At least I think it was hatemail.
It was hard to read because the font was so small.
