OK, for some reason the redirector won't work with that link, instead it takes you to the home page of the site. See the thumbnail pictures on the left of the screen? Scroll down about 10 pictures and find the "Top 50 most popular articles". #1 is "Radical new wheel technology" click on more. It really is interesting to see.

Great idea...stupid name, plus I bet the aftermarket wheel manufacturers don't like the concept at all.

Definately tough to look at. Looks goofy on that Audi.

BUT...

Very cool idea. I'd be willing to do a set on the Taurus. These are just the prototypes. It won't take any time at all for them to spruce up the appearance once they take off.

Good post!

Why not just put a sidewall around it to make it look like a real tire. It'll still have the tweel guts inside of it.

I agree; it looks too much like a skeleton. Like you are seeing the insides of something you shouldn't...

Thanks.

I think they are a little weird looking too and the name definitely needs some work. A pretty radical idea though, and I do like the idea of no flat tires! My husband says he'd like to try a set off roading, thinks they'd be awesome rock-crawlers.

I would try them, anything that could possibly get an extra mile or two per gallon and I'm game.
