Sorry, I passed through all the replies to give you my unbiased opinion.

At 42, I've fluctuated up and down from starting out pathetically skinny to fighting the inches and scale. My opinion is to WALK, WALK WALK. Yes, diet makes a big difference to some degree. Exercise is the key. Running will beat your knees up. I was always a runner but I have to tell ya, brisk walking will do wonders and is probably better for you. My knees hurt nowadays. Just keep moving and the heartbeat at the right level to burn fat...

Well I agree and disagree with you. I think that diet is most of the battle. The reason I say this is because I went to the gym for 6 months (still thought I could eat whatever I wanted because I was going to the gym), and I didn’t lose any weight. I did lose a little fat, but not as much if I had been eating right. After the first 6 months, I started eating right, and the weight started to drop off of me. I am not downplaying exercise, because it is just as important. All I am saying is that both are very important, and if you want to lose weight, you diet needs to be in check, just like you exercise.

I have found that EVO PRO is a good protein supplement. I believe it has 26 grams of protein, and only like 145 calories when mixed with water, slightly more when mixed with milk. It is made by the maker's of Muscle Milk. Taste better than any other’s I have tried. Here is a link.
