Fox News got it wrong too.

They briefly had a headline that read,

Not Clings to Life

the same reporters that pronounced Al Gore as president.

Who wants to bet that there are bookies in Vegas with a pool going for the hour the pope dies. Im not catholic, I strongly disagree with the catholic church on many things, including the pope, but it is always sad when a figure head of a major religion dies. Who do y'all think his successor will be? My money is on the guy that stood in for the pope on Easter.

Well, I'm up at 3am (damn jet lag) watching Fox and he's still hanging in there.

Anyway, I think they should hold auditions for the new guy.

In fact, POPE IDOL

We could vote various cardinals off each week till we have somebody groovy

I'm sure he was gone early yesterday. The people who lose their posts with his passing just wanted to get in as much last minute maneuvering... err, I mean... work before the official announcement was made.

That's pretty a pretty cynical viewpoint. He was 84 years old and had been in declining health for about 10 years. Plenty of time for 'maneuvering'.

Not without pissing off the boss. Just being realistic. Much of the Italian press has been reporting the Pope dead since early yesterday. Drudge put it up and took it down. The Pope isn't dead until the Vatican says he is.

The world is supposed to end, all sinners were go to hell, the good, right, and the holly will go to heaven....All relingions preach this, that some holly savor will save the good, and the infidells will be punished.

This has been going on since day one...........

I do beleave in God and don't qustion any one else's right to choose...the Roman Cathlic Church has messed up a lot of people threw out history...Priest's playing with alter Boy's, you have sinned give God three chickens and your sins will be atoned..( mid evil times ) bla bla bla....

If your a good honest person willing to strive and be helpful to your fellow man and not stab him/her in the back, and you have ethics, basic sense of right or wrong than in my mind relingion can only help you, but becarfull of absolutes......

Some how being a decant, good human being has been misplaced by who's god riens supreame.

I hope the Pope soul finds peace, as I do all men/women.

I was in a movie theater when the Pope died. When the lights came up, the place was half empty. I was by the door and didn't see that many people leave. Has the Rapture taken place? Nobody said Hallelujah. I guess, if you're reading this, you haven't been good little boys and girls.
