I have a 4 1/2 year old Cub Cadet...smaller model than yours, and love it. I use it for everything, it's a tough little tractor. I know now that I should have bought a bigger model. They're very well made, you'll be glad you you bought it.

I'm not sure that you can ever buy one big enough. There will always be a few times that you will say. "I wish I had 4x4. Or I wish I had ____, or this, or that, etc." But if you do get something that will do everything like a JD4020 Cab Over, 4wd, w/ AC, Front loader, Live PTO, etc. Then it ends up being to big for common yard task.

One thing I want to do with the tractor is to put a regular hitch on it and move my 18' car hauler. There's too much tongue weight for my non-shaft drive model to handle.

If it's a hydro stat be careful. I know the mid 90's models anyway would not pull a log spliter for very long before they would burn up. Neighbor burned up 2 trannys $600 each before the shop told him not to pull anything with it unless he got a transaxle.

Rumor has it that Raoul has modified his new gas efficient transportation to cut his lawn.

Looks something like this:

But can you imagine his lawn?
