Broken Into

Well it happened, someone tried getting into my 2002 F-150 XTR. They didn't make it in, but they pried up on the drivers door handle and pushed off the clip and linkage behind the key cylinder. Obviously the key won't work anymore, but the remote entry does.

How easy is it really to get into our trucks without smashing things? How about starting and driving? What can I do to prevent this? Also, would anyone know what the part number of the small clip is that holds the linkage to the key cylinder? Thanks!

best way to prevent theft is to not have anything worth stealing.

That's life, life sucks.

If someone wants to get in your truck, they're gonna get in.

If they messed with your door handle, I assume you don't have a sliding window, as that's the easiest place to get in. It doesn't even cause any damage...
