How long was the tank burning before you got to the scene? If I pulled up to a propane tank that was burning like that with no buildings near it, I would probably tell my driver to "back the F#@K up!"

Thats the only drill that got me scared, you know, when your right up on the tank, with a full fog, and it hot as He!!, and the flame is licking in on you. Had to check my shorts a couple of times.

Great pics, loks like you crew was doing a fine job. I still prefer the New Yorker Helmets, they seem to stay on my head better. The leather boots are sooooo comfotable and well worth the investment. The rubber ones were always loose and gave me blisters.

Take care and be safe.

Leathers are too heavy? Put your purse down and maybe it won't bother you as much. As far the leather boots, they are a godsend, I couldn't wear rubbers now.

The pictures look more like a training drill than a real emergency response.

I wish I worked for a department that could afford leather helmets and boots. We're lucky to keep all of our apparatus staffed.

Talk about lite up your world. Reminds me of the time a Hydrogeologist coworker of mine decided to have some fun while we were collecting air samples for our environmental consultant firm we worked for. He proceeded to lite up a helium-filled foil air-sparging test balloon. He would tie the test media with a string then lite it, and release the balloon. Talk about loud! Oh to be young and stupid again. Well, one out of two ain't bad....

Did anyone See the special on Animal Planet last night "Dragons from Fantasy to Real Life"

They claimed to of found a real dragon frozen in a glacier. It showed them investigating it and calculating how it might could have flown, how it might could have breathed fire, etc.

Dragon

You could probly put that picture up for auction on ebay
and make a killing, LOL. You know like some of these
auctions I've been reading about in the paper lately.
Grilled cheese sandwich that looks like the virgin mary,
Mom that auctioned off a ghost of her father because
her kid was scared he was going to haunt him. Just seen
one in the paper the other day about a mother that was
auctioning off the "monster" under her kids bed, includes
a picture the kid drew of it. Golden Palace Casinos bids
on alot of crazy stuff like that.
Hey you never know...................... I can see the paper headlines now.
Ebay aucton for picture titled:
"Flamed dragon of Death arises from pits of Hell"
goes for big money on ebay..........$13,500 see story inside.

Ya never know.
