RR, Sure you didn't have anything to do with the fire. I know how you covet that peacefully little valley of yours. A building like that across the street will just bring more of those damn "furiners" to God's country.

Im all about big fire, big water...I consider myself a pretty proficient pipe man....but if you can handle a 4" handline, God bless ya.... Thats what I meant, as in handlines, sure by all means get the 4" flowing, but if you see involvement like that and youre gonna pull a crosslay, why not grab a 2 1/2"?? Not sure how that department is staffed, but they should have gone bigger sooner. Send those pics to the insurance company, im sure they might be interested in them!! ha ha

Believe me, I had nothing to do with it. I need another six months of construction noise and mess behind my shop like i need another hole in my head...

Everybodies an expert!!!
Thanks for noticing - I own a business on the side the specializes in fire hydrant repair.
I can't tell you much about fighting a fire, but I know how a little bit about hydrants.
Send those pics to the insurance company, im sure they might be interested in them!! ha ha
You do that when a complex's hydrants don't work and the FD has a half mile of hose strung out to the nearest city hydrant that they can find.
