Is it true that "supercab flareside 4x4 Lariat F150s are hard to find"?
They were and are very hard to find in my area. It took me
6 months of looking within a 100 radius of my home to find
one. As soon as I saw it on the lot...I got the checkbook
out. Still drivin' it today...

Like Green said, I see plenty of them in XLT, but not so many in lariat.
I like the flareside better on the supercabs...

I checked it out today and got to drive it! It drives like a dream. It's in awesome condition... a few minor cosmetics. Really sleek looking, comfortable. Fun to drive. I want it... The only bad thing is, the owner is asking too much for it. My dad and I are going to find out what the bank can do and so forth, and I'm gonna see if I can pick up more hours at work. I feel like I want it so bad, that I'll do whatever it takes. Boy,,, I loved driving it Got some special recognition on the road... some guy in an SUV stuck his head partially out the window and looked back at me. I'm like, what're you lookin at? lol....

I have hope in this...

There's about 77,600 miles on it... and he's asking $15,200. Kelley Blue Book's price, with the excellent rating and the bells and whistles, tops out at $12,000. I really want this to work though.. ohh.

Ooooooooooo, very nice. Print off a copy of the KBB thing and take it to him to try and get him lower.

He's out of the ballpark with that price. KBB tends to run high anyway, and he wants over 3K more than the 'perfect' price? He sounds like a very lucky man to have someone like you on the hook for a $3500-$4000 bonus.

I have an 02 Lariat SCab I'll sell you for $21K. It's got 47K miles and it's only $3K over KBB.

With the Off Road package. I'll bet it has rear disk brakes also. Yes that is a rare find, and he wants a premium for it. It was the big dog on the lot in 99.

I'm tellin' you guys, I feel like I have to have that truck. I feel like I will lose something big if it isn't sold to me.

He was showing me printouts of other comparable trucks, which seemed a little off IMO.

I will check with the bank to see what they can do, how much of a loan they will give me, etc. I am going to ask my boss this week if there is any way I can work more hours too.

I'm wondering why he has to have the extra $200 slapped onto the $15,000. He went and bought either an 04 or 05 F150 supercab flareside, without trading in his 99 or selling it first. You know he's loaded...

I am inspired to go see it before I head off tomorrow. Oh, I want it so bad...

edit: It's not even in MINT condition, has minor cosmetic flaws in it, such as a paint chip, little bit of rust behind the front driver's fender, tiny dent in the rear bumper, a crack or two in his leather seats, and some gummy substance on the rear floormat.
