I thought anyone who works in the automotive industry or aftermaket parts could get tickets. Is there some other stipulation beyond that to get tickets?

to get the tickets or ticket you need to be in the Auto industry yes but if youa re a mechanic for some shop that will not get you a ticket .It has to be applied for by the owner of the shop.STan
PS pretty much any speed shop or even a tuner can get set up and just have you repect them at SEMA.

SEMA show

Just as a point of interest: SEMA is sponsoring the International Auto Show in Atlantic City NJ on May21st 2005 for several days. If you don't want to wait til November try checking their website for info. They allow non- automotive industry viewing on Sat and Sun.
check: www.SEMAIAS.com. This show is their big east coast display>
