So on the way home from bowling last night this idiot behind me is riding my **** on a side street... turn onto the main road and he races past me only to wail on the brakes for the first light... I poke along after the turn knowing the light timing... light goes green and I blow by him... I let up knowing there is no way to make the next light... he blows by me again and stomps the breaks to stop for the light. I putz up next to him at a stop. I know he's miffed... light goes green, I chirp 'em and blow 'em away outta the hole. His V6 is screaming like a banshee but by the time it spooled up I was ¼ car length ahead and he couldn't pull one bit on me. Had we continued past 50/60 I think the gap would have grown. So I got in front of him to annoy him some more & make my turn after the next light. Man, he was one unhappy driver...

I've been running the hi-perf tune from my 1714 since day 1. Finally going to knock it down to the 87 tune after this tank. I love this truck...

Edit: it was a late model, pretty sure it was a GT based on the lame body cladding & ground effects. They are supposed to run a 0-60 in 7.5 - 8 sec...

Hmmm... many, many kills. HEMI 4-doors, F250, various ricers with fart can mufflers... it's great! These trucks are not slow but by no means speed deamons. I usually try to pick on other trucks, but sometimes I'll pick on cars and bite off more than I can chew..

 

I just got back from going out to eat with a few buddies from back in the day. The one gear head still has his 75 pee green impala and wanted to run me. He just dropped a 350 in it with new gears...........HAHA....

I took him off the line till about 50 when he caught me and passed, at 70 i was catching him and at 90 i was waving as i flew by him. I was quite suprised. Everybody there figured i would get smoked. He pry had my in the 1/4 mile but half mile i had him caught.
