Engine trouble - question

The reason I'm assuming it's ignition or fuel related is because it WILL run perfectly much of the time...but when it's acting up, it's bad. I'm leaning towards ignition related though. Plugs were checked by the dealer. Guess I'll find out this weekend if the coil packs and wires fix it. Those packs are a PAIN to get to though! I can't even see the bolt heads. I might have to do some of it by feel.

Don't you hate that? Seems like more and more often we have to do that too... I can remeber on my old 69 F-100 I would crawl in the engine compartment and sit on the inner fender with the engine to work on it. One time I was stumbed and actually fell asleep in there while trying to think...

I can barely get a leg in modern Engine compartments if I'm lucky

Update:

Coil packs and plug wires have been replaced. So far so good after about 8 miles. We'll see how it goes, but for that short distance I couldn't make it screw up. I hope that was it

They were!...so I had a shop we use do it. He only charged me $30
