I HATE noises!!

I think somethings wrong with me! lol I can't stand noises in a car or truck! If I hear one pin drop in my truck, I freak out and rip everything apart until I find out whats causing the noise! I constantly have my radio low so I can listen for noises as I'm going down the road!! I get stressed out trying to find where the noises are coming from and the bug the crap out of me!

Is anyone like me out there??

LOL I hear ya., Squeaks and rattles bug the hell out of me. Stuff rolling around in the glove box or center console drives me nuts. Plus I hate when people lay crap up on the dash and it slides back and forth while there driving.

The thing that bothers me most..okay I have a 4 month old truck with 3K miles on it (2004)...the damn thing rattles and squeaks more then my buddies 1994 Subaru Impreza which doesn't have one rattle!!! I'm seriously outside most every day trying to hunt down the rattles and fix a darn squeak in my dash! It seems like everytime I take my truck out, I hear more and more! AHHHH!!! I wish I could be deaf sometimes.......

so let me see if I have this right. You say noises freak you out . . .

then you say you listen for them.

So you purposefully seek out that which drives you nuts.

Looks like you are getting what you want.

If you intentionally are trying to drive yourself crazy, which you say you are doing, then I'd have to agree with your first sentence in your post . . .

I think there was only about one time where I just kicked back and enjoyed my ride. That was after a night at a bar with a few freinds where It kept my mind off the noises lol I can't do that to often though, if I would have got pulled over, that for sure would have been a DUI.

Speeking of getting pulled over. I got pulled over about a month ago after trying to locate a rattle going down the road. I didn't realize I was left of the center line. The cop asked if I was drunk, but I told him the truth that I trying to find a rattle, and he seriously just laughed at me. That wasn't cool. I felt like an ***, but he let me go without a ticket, but I can't stand RATTLES or strange noises! I think I hear to much.

Triton, you are not alone

I notice/hear everything! If there is an unfamiliar noise I worry that something is wrong with my truck. (sometimes I have to turn down the radio to see if what I thought I heard really happened). This is really bad I know. What bugs me more is when things start sliding around as I am driving (check book, invoice book, blue prints etc.) I actually bought a brief case to hold all my different books, and then when that started sliding around, I bought a truck tool box to put my brief case in. I would insert the laughing devil with horns here, accept that I am not laughing.

and you thought you had it bad (type A)

Scott
