Seems family and friends celebrated with drinks in the kitchen where Hunter S. Thompson shot himself . . . with his body still at the table . . .

This is sooo typically British.

I am not too good on my British plays, nor on real British life, but the first thing that struck me is that HST and his whole family are wannabe 16th Century English

My second thought was of you, my favorite Brit.
