The greatest thread of all time moved!

I'm sorry but this thread should not have been moved. This is the greatest video of a car on a track I have ever seen. I know it's not a Lightning but we are all into speed and this guy is a GOD!

Because it involved more than stabbing the go pedal from a dead stop and holding the wheel straight.

Since he is a god - I decided it was best we share him with the rest of the site - He is still around - Just being viewed by a wider audience now

The fact that he was driving a car that was 4 - 10 times the performance of some of the other cars on the circuit helped with the closing speeds etc - the variety of cars on the track led me to believe it was a track day not a race.

Thanks Doug,

I'm sure it was a track day but the thing that impresses me the most is how smoooooth he is. If you watch the box he almost never saws the wheel. He must be able to stay right on the edge all the time. The thing I really liked about the video is that when I go to the track and my son and I take in-car video we think it's going to look like this video but it does not. We look slow on film even though when you are driving it FEELS just like watching Hans! Thanks again Doug. I know most everyone on this site has the "need for speed" so they should really like watching it.

It had nothing to do with Lightnings. Why should I have left it in the Lightning forum?
Guess where this thread is going as well?

My Gawd! I finally took the time to load it and watch.........he's up-shifting where I'd be down-shifting. My heart is still racin'! Did you see his pass on the red Turbo Porsche?

I use to driver's school my 1991 Camaro Z281LE(6-point roll cage, BFG R1's, etc, etc) at Road Atlanta with some Porsche clubs but my Gawd; that is one crazy, brilliant, drivin' ****!

Brooks, you sir are an A-hole! Doug also thought it should stay. Is that what pulled your string.....Doug going over your head? I could have bet who moved it the first time. I'm surre many here are like me and only go strait to the L forum. I wanted to share this with them. I've been on this board longer than you have but I guess you have a little power now so you think you are some kind of God! I've seen many other threads that none of the others would have moved but you jump right to it. I know this is a L section of this board. I also know most of the L owners don't go to any forums except the L board. These are my friends and I wanted them to get to enjoy something I enjoied. I'm sure you will ban me now and if that will make you feel better......so be it.

Geez, get a grip. It's just a video clip. If it really upsets you that much that is was moved so everyone on the site could enjoy it, you might want to consider spending a little less time in front of your computer. There is no need to insult one of our moderators for doing his job.

I wanted to share this with them. I've been on this board longer than you have but I guess you have a little power now so you think you are some kind of God!
And I've been running the board longer than you've been registered and I am ok with the thread being moved.
