"Dam, they put $60,000 of bullets into that guy! He must've needed killin'!"

That's what Chris Rock said. Just make bullets about $5,000 a bullet and crime would take a swan dive. Chris Rock is the best.

There wouldn't be any innocent bystanders getting hurt: Somebody just spent $50,000 on his @$$, so he must p!$$ED somebody off.

Chris Rock is hilarious...

An excerpt from one of his concerts...

Doctors don't cure $h!t no more.. Same diseases been hanging around since I was a kid. MS, MD, Cancer... Do you think doctors are gonna cure AIDS? No! Why? Because there's no money in the cure- the money is in the treatment. The money is in the medicine.

Cure AIDS? Have you lost your ____in' mind? Doctors are still mad about all the money they lost curing Polio. They ain't about to cure AIDS.

Today's doctors don't cure *****. What will they do? They will find-a-way-for-you-to-live-with-the-disease.

Hell, Doctors won't even cure Athlete's Foot.

You watch, someday in your lifetime a friend of yours will miss a day of work- you'll see him the next day and say- "Hey' why'd you miss work yesterday, and your friend will say. "Aw man, my AIDS was acting up. But, I took a pill and I'm alright now."

its sad to see that happen, innocent people, but its sad that guns are still legal.

Ever hear of something called the Second Amendment?

It is the second RIGHT in the Bill of Rights.

I would like for you to go here and order/read the book.
http://www.tsra.com/sto/2ndprimer.htm

I believe it would be very enlightening for you to do so.

Oh yeah, and with that being said.....

One of the people involved (and killed) in the shooting was a gentleman with a handgun. Mark Wilson. Wilson was licensed to carry a handgun and fired several shots at Arroyo (gunman). Arroyo, however, was wearing a bulletproof vest.

Mark Wilson was firing back to protect the people around him. Imagine what the gunman would have done if Mark Wilson wasnt firing back. He could have injured or killed even more people.

Like Burt Gummer said:

Thats one right I am glad we have.

That is why I consistently and constantly practice the Mozambique Drill.

jamzwayne,

Two to the chest, one to the head.

You gotta be careful though, the head is a smaller more mobile target than the chest.

Well it's illegal to kill people, but that obviously isn't working. So let's take away only 1 tool to make it easier.

What about baseball bats? hammers? knives? cars? hands/feet? rope? rocks?

Or are you refering to destroying every gun in the world and bringing back fist fights and sword duals? That may actually be fun.

What I don't get is this guy shot and killed 2 people, injured others and the news reporters are still refering to him as a suspect and *alleged shooter*

I am against "random" gun ownership with no training, no serious background checks etc. but that is grist for another thread.

What everyone seemed to miss, I did not as a former Police Officer, is that the Officer in the lead car did some pretty nice shooting while pursuing the bad guy. I never tried it, but trying to control your pursuit vehicle and shooting at the same time and from the video, hitting right smack on the left rear part of the back window (where the driver sits) was impressive.

I am no fan of this type of video but would like to give credit where credit is due.

Had I been there, in Mr. Wilson's position- I'd be dead too, because that's exactly what I would have done. I'm an OK shot with a pistol, but I can part your hair with a rifle without hurting you.

Had I been with the SWAT team- one shot, one kill.
Had I been on the street- I would have gone for the head rather than the body. I guess I still vividly remember those bandits in California in 1997/1998 that took several hits from the cops due to their body armor.

Until they make a bulletproof mask- if I ever have to take someone out- it'll be via a headshot; or center mass with a high-powered rifle....

If they take anything off the streets, they need to take off the assault rifles.. (AR-15's, AK-47's). If they find a way to make them fully automatic, even the cops don't have a chance; which explains how this made national news- and how even the cops were hiding. There's no safe place to get hit with a shot from an AK-47, unless it's in the foot, preferably in the pinky toe.
