Maintenance:some figures

Just to give you an idea what maintenance cost around here.

Engine oil 10W40 $10.71 per quart.
FL-820S oil filter $18.93
FA-1632 Air filter $63.52
Motorcraft Front brakepads $126.52
Labor $78 per hour.

All above without 19% salestax.

Exchange rate Euro/$1.30

How much would the motorcraft brakepads cost me in the US or Canada?

Man are you getting ripped.
I just paid $2.39 a quart for 5W20 oil and $4.99 for an FL-820S filter and felt ripped off. I could have gotten them cheaper other places, but till you add in gas and time it wasn't worth it.
The labor rate here is getting pretty close to your $78, but I would expect the pads to be about half the price, at the dealer.
I think if we had 19% sales tax here, there would be another revolution.
I am wondering why the costs are so high. I know shipping will up the price, but not multiplying by a factor of 4. What other taxes/tariffs are added that are part of the price?
