I am more excited about the Simpson's episode about to come on than I am the game or the commercials.

I liked the don't jump to conclusions spot with the guy holding the tomato sauce drenched cat in one hand and a butcher knife in the other when his girlfriend enters the apartment.

Don't remember who the commercial was for though.

Did you guys see the dodge commercial after the super bowl, that was an original, lol. Lets take a country singer and sing about trucks, huh, I think that has already been done before. I guess the are hoping to get the same sales as ford, since it worked so well for them, but what really sells is the product, poor dodge, lol.

I get it, it is saying people who live in cold climates are to stupid to know any better then driving with the top down in sub-zero temperatures and thus Ford, in a bid to save morons who don’t know any better, from death is going to wait to release a convertible Mustang until its safe, until the temperatures are warm in spring time.

Kind of like the government trying to help all the stupid people. I say let nature sort out the stupid people and clean up the gene pool…

I liked the Mustang one. The metallic cheek tapping was great! The cat and tomato sauce was great also.

And what about that halftime show? Who'da thunk they could have made that great of a show without any half naked boobies? I mean, I really LIKE half naked boobies better than just about anything, and I still think the halftime show with Sir Paul was phenomenal!

I guess the other thing someone might get from the Mustang commercial is that there is a warranty concern right off the bat. The concern would be that the top don’t appear to function correctly and the car doesn’t come with a heater, or perhaps that too is a warranty concern…

You gotta pay to play…

That one was, hands down, my favorite! I was cracking up after seeing that one...

I also liked the Cadillac commercial where the girl and her boyfriend are running away to get married. Her father intercepts them and tells him that he doesn't care but to take her mother's car instead of the new Caddy sportscar (built in Bowling Green, KY at the Corvette Plant).

Yeah, the cat and the tomato sauce was hilarious. Although it was for another company, that would have been a great opening for a caveat to a Southwest Airlines commercial- seeing the dude holding the cat and the knife, and his girl standing there. They should've panned in on him then said the words "Wanna get away?" That would have been classic!!!

The girl in the Tobasco sauce outfit was SMOKIN"!!!!!
If they make 'em like that on Avery Island, LA- I'm going down there!

All in all, this year's commercials were do-do.

My grandma had a heart attack yesterday, so I was in the Hospital with her...I only got to catch bits and pieces and most of the time we couldn't turn the sound up to an audiable level over every one...ARRRRG. But from what I did get to "see"...I wasnt real impressed with any of them... Most where everyday quality commercials. But I guess with the economy as it is and the cost to run the ad at 100K per sec. Then no one could afford to pay for good writers or production crews. I have probably wrote equal or better commercials while drunk! LOL Actually almost everyone of my designs and compostitions that have won awards.. I either wrote or designed while I was "Feeling Good"...

But the two that made me chuckle was the guy getting maced.. beat down.. and stunned, at the Gas station....
AND the one with the cop walking up, tapping on the window of a parked car with steamed up windows and slow music playing...Then when the window rolled down it was two dudes eating sandwiches...

The Mustang convertible was a great commercial.

"We just coudn't release a convertible this irresistible in the middle of winter, coming in spring, the 2005 Mustang convertible"

The commercial suggests that if they released it now, morons like myself would rush out and buy one and freeze drving it. Of course, it's gonna be 75 degrees here today.

I think it's one of the best commercials.
