I had my heart set on a new gen 3 Lightning to go with my other Lightning.I think ford is really making a mistake but oh well.If they dont want my money,Ill give it to GM. I just ordered a 05 white Z51 vette coupe w/ removable roof. It will look good next to the lightning in the garage.Im sure it will be a blast to drive .Its costing me $47,400 out the door which really isnt too bad . It is supposed to arrive in may somethime (aprox) I love my Lightning but ford can go screw themselves for not being loyal to Lightning owners.They certainly sell more Lightnings than cobras too.Idiots.I hope chevy comes out with a sport truck equivalent to the lightning.Ill buy that.

I might get crap for this and i am indeed ready but I went with an automatic. My reasoning for this is simple. To me I bought it for a cruiser type car more than performance.When i am in it with my wife,I really dont want to shift it.It will be a nice car to go out to dinner in or a function.I probally wont put more than 3k miles a year on it anyway.I also went with steel grey interior.I think with white it will be a nice Bright car.Some would argue that if I am only going to drive it once in a while,It should be 6spd,And I partially agree but for me auto is better.The only reason I got Z51 is because I think it is a BARGAIN just for the brakes nevermind the gear change and other things.

 

Ah you should be use to it by now, Every time some one opens the door of my truck they say does it come in a stick.. then you have to give them the ole automatics are quick speach yada yada..

Enjoy the car its your money buy what you want....
