renting my house out

This is crazy I know, but I am curently moving all my stuff to storage tonight and tomorrow so a limo company from Texas can move in with their drivers and stage for the week of the Super Bowl. I am getting $875.00 a night for the week! I wanted to capitolize on this event somehow. The nice thing is that one of my clients has a two story beach house and they are letting me and the wife and kids stay there rent free. I offered them 1000.00 and they said they did not need the money and wanted us to stay as they would not need the house this week. Unbalievable huh!
Do you all think I'm nuts to give up my house to a bunch of strangers? The way I see it is that this is a once in a lifetime thing for us in Jax.
Have any of you out there had the Super Bowl in your town and made a proffit off of it in some way?
There's already a bunch of Philly/ Mass. plates around town. This is going to be a crazy week!

I have already started seeing more tour buses and motorhomes around town over the weekend. I would've rented out my house, but I don't live in the city and I live with my parents and we live in a mobile home.

I know both teams arrived here in town this weekend. One of our techs saw the Patiots buses heading down to where they are staying at the World Golf Village and he said there were Police everywhere and helicopters continuously flying overhead while they were going down Interstate 95

We were looking to do the same thing for the Atlanta Olympics. We lived in Macon and had tickets and tried to get a hotel room in Atlanta a couple years in advance, but were told they were already booked up. We got transferred out of the country so we couldn't go anyhow.
