It's Finally Snowing!

Getting some snow finally here in Tulsa! There's only about an inch forcasted, but that'll do. I've been waiting for this stuff for a long time now. It started out this morning as rain...then sleet...now it's snowing. Looks like it's really mushy. If the temp gets down lower tonight, it will probably be pretty slick too. That's not good. I'd rather see the powdery stuff. Much more fun!

Last time I saw snow was Christmas day, and before that, never. Send some of that way down south to Houston. That little bit of snow we got was just a tease showing what we were missing down here.

I'd be more than happy to send you some of ours. We have gotten about 3 feet of it in the last couple weeks and more is coming. It does look all pretty when everything is all white and its a blast to drive in but enough is enough!! We're running out of places to put it when we clear the driveway, last week they closed all state and federal offices, not because of the road conditions but so they could spend the day clearing parking lots of snow!! I am soooo ready for spring!!

You can have the snow! If I could send you ours, I would. Around here there is so much road salt you can just about hear it eating away at the metal of our vehicles.

I can't wait till the snow all mets away. We'll have a mud pit for a while but that's better than this snow, and these arctic tempretures!

It was 79 here yesterday, I was out washing my cars in shorts and a t-shirt. I haven't seen snow in 27 years and I was too young to remember it.

Snow is easier to drive on then ice. The colder it is the easier it is to drive on. It gets nasty at the freezing point 32 degrees.

Finally warmed up here today. First time in the twenties since the first part of January.

Sled...
