Sounds like a killer setup you got there! I have a Sessions custom 1 kick 3 racks and a floor...saving up for another bass and another floor tom. Too many cymbals to list...I think that half of my talent has come from DT and Portnoy just by expanding my imagination like using crazy time signatures and stuff like that...Good to hear from another drummer on these boards...

Were they good in concert? I think that country needs to give guys like them more airtime and less to pretty boy pop wanna bes like Keith Urban.

I like country most I woul have to say, classic rock, metal, even 80's big hair stuff like Bon Jovi, some classical even. About the only things I don't like is Slip Knot type stuff and most rap (not that there isn't some stuff thats good). JMHO

In my opinion atleast, both are excellent in concert. I've been going to see Pat Green for several years now. He used to play at smaller venues such as Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth, which is basically an over-sized honky-tonk, where in my opinion atleast it was a lot more fun.... Now days, he's gotten popular enough where when he comes thru town he usually plays at bigger venues like Starplex which probably has 10 to 20 thousand seats, which just doesn't have anywhere near the same 'feel' to it. Cross Canadian Ragweed on the other hand is still on the smaller venue level, and is a lot of fun to see live...
