website design

I would like to learn how to do a website, for my self and possibly one of the Sportsmen's groups I belong to.

Problem is I am 39 and not 12, so I have no idea where to start. Dumb and stupid and proud of it.

A local college offers a course in MSFrontpage, but the last time it was offered they had no takers so it was dropped, I see it is back, would this be a good starting point?

A guy gave me something called Sitespinner, baffled the ***** ou tof me.

I know there has to be someone here with some good advice, as there seems to be people here that know just about everything.

thanks for the input.

This is a pretty easy web-page editor......

I learned HTML from http://www.htmlgoodies.com/ mostly the http://www.htmlgoodies.com/primers/basics.html it is, for me at least, easier to do something the "easy" way if you at least know the hard way. Run through the 7 primers on html and you will better know what to do. If you find you like HTML code then I suggest Homesite for a wysiwyg, it does very clean code that you can work with. FWIW I haven't really done much with web design in a few years but this is a great place to at least get started

Good luck
Stan
