What happened?
What happened?
While i am not questioning the administration of this board, i just want to know what happened to the T or A thread?!?!? Did it vanish for good? it says "moved" but when i click on it, i cant view it... just tryin to figure out whats up.
At the current moment, it's in a non-public forum while the search functions are being worked upon...
It is unclear at this point in time whether or not it will be a public forum in the near future because of copyrighting issues (as have been discussed in great detail).

That is why you cannot access it as you had asked in your original post.

o ok, i always thought public meant anyone not registeres... like "guests" and such.... good stuff
can any of you mods show us WHICH pic is causing the most damage (and be truthful...) because im being blamed for this even though all my pics had the name changed, and were hosted by a 3rd party host server.

What does it matter man? The thread was moved and may or may not come back...
It's time to let this 'copyright' debate that you've brought to the table go because it will be Steve's ultimate decision on if and when that thread comes back and what (if anything) is removed before it comes back.
None of us here want to see a great message board with so many great members go to the wayside because of copywritten materials being published without permission. Lawsuits can and do occur over just this type of thing and we're simply making sure that the I's are dotted and T's crossed so that the best interests of this site, it's owner, and it's members are met.
Thanks,
RP

I fully respect his decision man, i stated that MANY times. Its his forum, let him do what he pleases. I only stated that i hate *** holes... and whoever complained about us using "their" pic is a bonified, 100% Grade A *** hole.

a photographer's copyright is his livelihood. Violate it, and you are taking money out of his/her pocket. While I do agree that getting upset about a low res post on a board like this is stretching it, it is their right to do so.
Yes, I post links to other photog's work, so call me a hypocrite if you like, but I'm not calling someone an a$$ for trying to protect their work. If you're doing something wrong, accept the consequences when you get caught.
What we do a lot of times when posting photos on boards like this is in fact stealing.
If a carpenter threatened to sue someone for not paying for the cabinets he built, would people call him an a$$hole
