Yep, i know, i went ahead and i spent the extra buck when i got mine... went with the flip feature... you know its handy : ) plus i got all the goodies that come with analog service... found it kinda hard to find a leather case for it though, or a car charger... anyone know a good place?

Motorola 550.
I had one back in 1996/1997
What a turd that was. I could hold a fart longer than that could hold a charge. *, this__Function, that. It wasn't user friendly at all. It's that piece of crap that sent me scurrying to Nokia- a much more user friendly, intuitive phone.

yeah, that phone was actually in my hand, and that pic is actually mine to spread around LOL. It was my grandpas and he actually hung that brick off his belt back in 98-99 like it was the "thing" to do just posted it as a joke, hope nobody REALLY thinks im sportin' that piece of crap! funny thing is, they dont even have analog phone service anymore... you CANT hook up one of those phones, or many other phones anymore... the networks are all digital

I have a friend at Qualcomm on new product introductions. They made 16 just like Kirk's communicator. Market studies were a big thumbs down. Long story short he ended up with a working one. Being a Trekkie I offered good money and he turned me down. I still play with it at times.

It's a great unit. The first with voice recognition but still a flop.

I will try to get a pic for posting.
