Any ATV Riders Here?

I had a 98 Arctic Cat 454 4X4, really liked it. Wish I didn't sell it sometimes, mostly rode it around the outskirts of Fairbanks. Took it down the Denali Hwy hunting for moose and sheep, worked perfectly. I'm looking at Honda and Polaris also, but I'm thinking of going with the Cat again when funds aren't so tight.

I own a 2001 Yamaha Blaster,,,, don't laugh, it pulls me and my fat wife around, and my baby a 2003 Suzuki DRZ400 with a Yoshy Off Road Pipe. I refuse to ride behind any Polaris ATV, cause of the smoke from its belt smoking. Why do you guys buy those belt burners for? Polaris= Junk !

Moto..boy are you right about the Polaris. '04 Honda Rincon 650 here. A buddy of mine and I were out in Big Bend riding in Nov, he on a 500 Polaris. We were 15 miles up a trail ( by my gps on the hOnda) and his belt broke! Big Red towed him all the way back..I figure about 1700 lbs combined! Go Honda

No offence to you guys that own a Polaris atv, but I refuse to ride behind them when we are riding hard out thru the mud and steep hills. The Polaris have a belt drive that slipps, and smokes when its under a load, and when ur riding behind them the smoke is so bad you can't see were ur going. The Polaris is ok if ur going to ride it easy and baby it, when when ur riding rough and fast, its a failure.

I have a 2000 Yamaha Kodiak 400 that is awsome. I have driven the crap out of it, towed many different machines with it, and pulled machines out of the mud with it. I also use it to plow our drive way, and most of the time in wisconsin we get a decent amount of snow, and it's quite a bit of work to push it around. Never had anything wrong with it, and it runs as strong as a 500.
I also have a 1983 honda atc 200. My daily driver you could say. With the five speed auto clutch....yeah. I bought this a year or so ago to save the yamaha from being ridden to death because i ride everyday, and most of the time at high speeds. The three wheeler can top out 45 or a little more. It's just a regular atc 200, not a 200s or a big red, just a 200. I have a cobra utility exhaust muffler on it that cost about 200, and it sounds awsome. Quiet idle and loud acceleration. Very fun machine, and with experience, is a extremely safe machine. Very easy to get unstuck because of light weight, but can't go through snow more that 5 inches because the tires never get enough traction and always start to spin. I love it, it is so fun, our subdivision has around 30 houses or less, and there are 5 or more three wheelers and about 10 four wheelers. All the three weelers are 200's, one is a big red, another is a 200s, another is a big red, and the last is exactly like mine. We have a 3 wheeler gang out here, it's funny.
