The snow all around my truck where the plow had to go around me is all gone tho so thats a plus Gonna suck tomorrow when it drops 40degrees into the single digits tho.

67°!! Wish we were having a heat wave! We are at a toasty -2 right now, and that's warmed up since this morning (yesterday morning I guess since it's now 12:41!) Anywho...when I got up it was -9...brrrr...

It was 73 on the way in to work this morning according to my truck's temp guage. It's now 55 according to Weather Watcher.

It made it up to nearly 75 here yesterday. Tomorrow's forecasted high is 35.

Oh yes, and it's rained non-stop since Christmas. I've literally seen the sun TWO DAYS since Christmas... The entire area is flooding around here to the point that many folks within the spiritual circles are speculating that Noah is building an arc nearby.

There is something unnatural and weird about 60 degrees F in the middl eof January in western NY. I did take a nice walk after lunch though and didn't even need my jacket.

HAA!!! Here in Fairbanks, it was 32F above zero last week and slightly raining, now it's -35F this morning! Last night, it actually got down to -47F in Fairbanks and was -59F below zero in North Pole! The ice fog is so thick, visibility is only the edge of your headlight beam on the road. Only a few accidents, but all in all, everyone knows how to drive when it gets this cold: slow and stiff. I'm glad I've got a heated garage that I can tuck my truck and my wife's explorer in for the night.

So what is to blame?

Global warming?
El Nino?
W. Bush?

I tend to believe that if the recording of weather had started earlier, we might see that though unusual, these events are not uncommon. Mother Nature, the great equalizer.

Buckdropper Im an expert on everything, the mild weather is being caused by a mild "El Nino" aka pineapple express, jet stream from the south pacific, but the weather pattern is now changing, expect colder air for the remainer of January. For New York State watch the tempature in Alaska, we get the oppisite of what they get, when its cold there, its going to be warmer here, and vice-a-versa. Cold air from the north always wins and moves south, but where it moves is the question, like if it moves down in Russia they get cold, but we stay mild, what im saying is, it has to be cold somewhere in the northern hemisphere, if its another part of the world, then thats better for us. To make an accurate forcast take a look at the worlds weather.

Talking about crazy weather, 2 days ago it was bright blue skies and in the upper 70's and lower 80's. today it barely even reached 50 degrees, rainy or very cloudy, and winds averaging about 30 mph and gusts probably over 45 mph. I believe there was more wind here today than there was with any of the hurricanes that came through this area last year. And with those high winds, the wind chill has probably been in the 30's all day.

Global warming, caused by humans, is one of the biggest jokes in the science world. We are going through a weather pattern and if people were honest, like the goofy scientist that believe in some kind of global warming caused by humans, they would tell people they haven’t got a clue as to what the weather patterns are from century to century since they have NO data to support the vast majority of their goofy conclusions…

Anyway, if there is global warming it is a GOOD thing, not bad. I always ask the few goofy people that think global warming is something to be deathly afraid of why they are afraid of something that gave us life? Anyone recall a time in history that was cold the “Ice Age”? How did we get from the “Ice Age” to now?

If my memory serves me correctly I don’t ever remember being taught in school that gas guzzlers and hair spray thawed the earth from the Ice Age…
