Sure, just ship me the septic system and I'll take care of it. E-mail me for my address...

Well, its not looking good so far...

He is pretty sure it is not the operating system and it is the hard drive. He is going to do some more work to it and let me know.

If it were the hard drive, is there still any way to retrieve that data? Ship it to Dell, etc...

I dont care about replacing anything/cost, just want that stuff....

So, for all of you that have not backed up your files, please do so, dont go through this, it just plain old sucks.

if cost isnt an object then yeah there are ways of getting ur data off that drive even if its in pieces. I dunno what this guys doin to your drive but it shouldnt take two days to do it. Takes about 5min to throw in ur hd and pull the data off to another source. Then he can do whatever he wants to try n save the drive itself. Buddy of mine didnt secure his data off of a drive before he started screwing with an o/s crash. Started screwing around with windows repair n corrupted the drive, that was a good day, client was unhappy.
