F150 police vehichle?

Anyone else ever see any F150 police vehicles or any trucks that are used as police cruisers? I saw one yesterday. In my job, I cover 5 counties, So I had to go to St. Augustine, which is in ST Johns county. I'm going down the road and look over and see an F150 Supercrew police vehicle. It had all the police markings and even had the roof lights. I go down there all the time, but this is the first time I have ever seen this truck.

I know our Jacksonville Sherrifs office has trucks, but they have Chevy duallies that are mainly used for the marine division and pull the police boats.

Texas DPS uses F150's, I've seen several of them, but I don't remember ever seeing a supercrew.

I've also seen a few here in Texas, although not often at all.
But they were just regular cab F150s I think, maybe extended cabs.

I've seen one F-150 SCAB (appears to be a 99 or 00 model) here in Louisville twice (same truck).

I use mine all the time for police work. We usually have a marked unit around for traffic stops if i see something, but it gets used all the time for surveillance and undercover stuff. Small town police dept and we can use at our discretion. Also some of our jurisdiction is dirt roads and swampy areas. My unmarked CV wouldn't make it.

The PD in Columbus, IN has a F250 SD 4x4 extended cab - I think around 2000 model year.
It's black w/ a fancy DARE paint job w/ the Columbus shield on the side of the door - but I don' think it has a lightbar, just lights in the windows. I believe it's more to be seen than actually used. It's always at the county fair and other events where the PD wants to show it off. I've seen it on the road (and in the body shop ); however, I've never seen anyone actually pulled over w/ it.

Our local state police have a Excursion! It's like a jail on wheels!

I've seen a Tahoe and a Suburban here in KY with Kentucky State Police 'stuff' all over it... including lights, strobes and all.

I've seen a blue, unmarked F-150 Flareside SuperCab 4 x 4 (97 - 03 bodystyle) police truck in Plano, TX. Couldn't tell it was a cop until I got close enough to see the blue & red lights in the grill, on the rearview mirror, and on the back of the external mirrors.

Surprise- surprise...

PS- DPS uses F-150's too....

A few months ago I was driving by one of our local big convention centre / Hotel, and the parking lot was full of law enforcement pick up trucks from all over North America.

There wwas over 100 pick ups from all over the place, Virginia Beach, Ohio, Florida, you name it, we had it.

I went back the following morning with my camera, but they were all gone.
Anyways, I noticed Ford and Dodge trucks were much more popular than the Chevy line.
There were some sweet rides, I'm not sure if my memmory is correct, but I think the VA Beach vehicles were Superduties.
I might be wrong, but there was lots.

I regret not making it there in time for the photo op.

Regards

Yeah, Virginia Beach has the Super Dutys but,
the back seats are vinyl and the windows don't roll down.
