This is pretty cool! I don't think I'd have the patience for it.

Wow, that's pretty impressive stuff inbred.

Rocky, the reason most people in old photos like that look severe is because the pictures weren't snapped quickly like they are today. I am not sure of the exact reason but I believe it had something to do with the length of time it took to burn the image onto the film. It was easier to hold a pose with a straight face than to try and hold a smile in position for the length of time required.

PS: Tuff is right about the patience required. Lots of trial and error and re-trial and so-on.

Thanks Rocky, Inbred does really excellent work from What I can tell. It just takes me way too damn long to do it to make any money at it.

Anyway, working in a hospital as a medical photographer (Just one of my jobs here at the hospital), sometimes if the police are stuck without their photographer, and need forensic photos from an autopsy in the morgue, I'll fill in for them, so I'm not really supposed to be able to do this photo retouching stuff

I'ts the kind of stuff thats nice to work on late at night when everybody else in the house is asleep

I hope I dont get in trouble for posting this. I do some in my spare time too mainley for fun. I dont make much if any on them. Most of the time its favors for family or friends but I love to do them. Many Many hours staring at blown up pixels in PhotoShop for some of these, making sure that no pixel is out of place.

Remeber I'm a print designer and photo restorer not a web designer, so don't laugh to hard at the cheesy page design.

Inbred I'm probably just a few hours north of you, we should get together sometime maybe around "Eureka Springs?" for some food, plus talk some PS, and trucks. What do you think?

Sounds good, but I'm in PA...

Just 'cause my name's 'Inbred' doesn't mean I'm from Arkansas...

I would have sworn that on a thread a couple of day ago you had told somebody you were from Ark. I thought you were serious so didnt look to see where you were really from...Sorry for the mix up. My bad.

Well if I can't critisize over a beer then I will just say.....Nice work man, if I ever lose my eyesight and can't do it anymore. Then I would defiantley have my wife as well as family and friends send thier pics to you for you to do for them! Since I couldn't see them I wouldn't care anymore, but I would know that they were done right!
