Question stupid computer question

just bought a new computer to use at work, and would like to make the mouse into 1 click instead of 2. I did this on my laptop but that was a while ago, and i'm apparently to computer illegitimate to figure it out.

Anyone able to help out here?

guess i'm just to lazy to push that button twice to get things t happen.

thanks

For Windows XP, click on the Start button at the bottom left of the screen.

Look at the dialog box that opens and click on the Control Panel icon.

Once that opens up, click on the Mouse icon.

When that opens the Mouse dialog box, you can customise all your mouse options from there.

Good Luck and if you have problems, Dzervit will be manning the helpdesk over the rest of the New Year period.

Here's how you do it:

1. Open up any folder, i.e., Control Panel, My Computer, My Documents, My Music, etc.

2. At the top, select "Tools" then "Folder Options"

3. Under the "General" tab you have the option of selecting "single click" or "double click" to open an item.

4. Under the "single click to open an item," you have two other choices. I use the choice where the icon is underlined when I point to it.

Enjoy!
