Would a Direct tv dish w/ LNB work on a dish network system? Weather is nice and wanna add tv to my shop. I have the dish network receiver but no extra dish extra my old direct tv one. Would it work? Wishful thinking?

My understanding is NO 'cause the frequency the 2 use from their transponders and the recievers are different. Dish has a bunch of specials even with the DVR options for multi room configurations. Good luck man.

i do technical service for dish network. (im the a$$hole you talk to when ya call in cuz you broke your system) a direct tv lnb will not work with a dish network system. radio shack would have a lnb. the cheapest route would be to get a legacy twin lnb with a sw-21 switch.

Since direct TV dropped the signal for the HU cards a lot of people lost their free TV. Now they have a fix to cheet it again. A P5 card with the full channel line up including NFL Sunday and a limited amount of PPV (About 10) it does not get PPV or adult channels. Has anyone herd of it and does it get blocked every month like the old HU card. It does cost about $200 for 3 months.

Actually it worked. I got 110 West in but since I could not get 119 in, I was missing channels. Burned a few hours

point it at 119 west 75% of your channels come from there 100% of the good ones.
