Retrax deal is this a good price

I was offered from Retrax for my 04 free shipping free cargo light and a price of 889. Is this a good deal? Thinking of ordering today.

The best deals I have seen have been around the $900.00 range and I not sure if that included shipping or not. Good luck

Thanks GB Texas ,I searched the forum over and went to a couple other forums and it sounds like the retrax was the hands down favorite. Now I have to work extra to pay for this thing. Oh well all in all I plan on keeping my truck for a while at least ten years.

I got my Retrax from JnJ for $850. This included retrax, gasket, key slot cover and shipping.

Jdaddy, if you did not want the high gloss black of the retrax then I would strongly suggest a Roll N' Lock. It is more of a flat black and works / cost about the same. Heres a pic of mine.

But if the high gloss is what your after I would go with the retrax too

Thanks to all who responded. I went and ordered it last night and if all is well it should be here tomorrow. I got the retrax, gate gasket and 12v light for $912 including shipping. Maybe a little more than Zoltan paid but I think it will be worth it. Now off to the
part time job to pay for this.

Jdaddy, that gasket is thick! I had a time getting the tailgate closed at first, but now that it's mashed down, no problems or leaks. Take your time with the install and get another person to help lift it in the bed. It's not heavy but cumbersome.

Rolling covers

I am getting ready to get a rolling cover on my 05. I'm not sure about the gloss on the Retrax either. Looking at the roll and lock and PE, it looks like the vinyl could get streched or damaged which would be pretty hard to repair or replace. Could some of you that have experience with these brands weigh in on this? Sure would be a big help!!
Thanks

Hey Zoltan thanks for the heads up on the gasket. I actually got the Retrax on Friday but havent had time to install it yet. Hopefully this week some time I can get it done. I was thinking of hooking up the 12v to the taillights so that I could turn them on with the remote. I am looking forward to getting this on.

Thanks again
