new pet rocky the mutant squerel

just got a Chinchilla for a new pet with the wife yesterday, never seen one before i got it the wife liked it and we needed a new pet for inside we have a outdoor rotweiler, man these chinchillas look weird like a cros between a rabit a mouse and a squerel(dont know how to spell) has any one ever had a chinchilla? will take some pics of the little guy soon, how hard are these guys to take care of? what do they like for treats? thanks for the info

Yep, once. It was a little tough and stringy, but that may have been the way it was cooked...

chinchillas are interesting lil mutants. Take a bath in dust and like chewing on stones. Dont smell as bas as guinea pigs tho so thats a plus, dont whine as bad either. Enjoy your new addition.
