New-be from the north, way north...
I've been watching the site for quite some time, finally got around to getting my gallery set up (needs better pics, though). I've owned Ford vehicles all my life, starting with a 86 Bronco II, then getting a 93 ranger, 2 explorer sports, 95 and a 97 (lemon), moved to a 98 F150 (that's pretty much were I got hooked on F150's), then a 2002 supercrew FX4, and finally, my 2003 F150 Heritage Edition. I figure I'm going to keep this one for a while. I've gotten so much information off of f150online for the last five or six years, lookin' forward to many more.
I just looked at this thread and there were 49 views and nobody said hello.
You miserable bastards, where's your holiday spirit?
So, hello jdpollen, welcome on board.
BTW, I've been as far North as Dead Horse on the slope.
:santa:

Thanks! Not to worry Raoul, I don't think I want to go head to head with a goat herder.
Well, checked the search, found out I'm stuck with my username. I don't think I can change it since I'd need a new e-mail adress as well.
The sun just came out, so I think I'll take some pictures of the... no wait, it went down again, dammit, try again tomorrow.

Very Welcome!!
Sorry it took you so long to post.
I remember Fairbanks well, visited there 5-6 times a year when I was a Parts Field Rep with Volvo. They are gone now, but I remember taking the mandatory pics of the thermometer reading minus many, many degrees and showing them to my boss in Los Angeles.
Some years after that, I spent two years in Sweden and experienced the same lack of sunshine which was a bit depressing but was balanced by the midsummer period when the sun would only disappear for half an hour or so and even then not entirely.
You do live in a lovely part of our country, post some pics of both your truck and the landscape.
Raoul: How you doing since they let you out? Hopefully they let you do soft time as opposed to hard time.
Bill
