I think I'm gonna add one of those to my list too. BTW, I can think of a lot of vehicles off hand that can out wheel a stock FX4.

The RIP SAW is COOOOL... I showed it to my wife a few weeks back and now she wants one for herself.

Irhogfan - Jeeps, though they are cool and yes quite the off road rigs can go more places then an FX4... Won't be coming home in one piece. They are built with CRAP for parts and will break easily under any load. An EB (or Early Bronco in case you didn't know what EB was) is a much stronger rig and was ahead of it's time for mobility and power. Especially compared to the Jeep, Toyota FJ40s and Land Rovers.

bigtruck311 - Have any better pictures of that truck? Though, mine isn't an FX4, I do have a build plan for my truck once it's paid off. And I have a buddy with an 02 FX4 he's wanting to build as well.

It is too bad that they don't still make the Early Broncos and yes, I know the abbreviation EB. I am still pretty sure that a brand new jeep will offroad better than a new FX4 and still make it home in better condition.

Thanks BigTruck for those pics. Got a buddy with an '02 who wants to lift. I invited him over here to check out the site.

Irhogfan - I wasn't sure if people here would know an EB or not. Since this is a truck site and not an EB site I thought I'd play it safe. Rumor has it... The new Bronco has been approved for production. Problem is, no definite plan on what chassis to build it on. Another rumor is Defender 90 which Ford would use the Bronco to bring back the Defender 90 essentially. I hope they make it.

Also... Agreed that the Jeep will go out further then the truck. But, disagree on it coming back in one piece.

<---Previously had a 99 TJ 6" lift 35" BFG MTs and a shattered T-Case and Shattered D35c later... Needless to say, I was towed home many times... HEHEHE

Probably should not have the 35" tires on a Dana 35. I'll take a Jeep Rubicon please!

I replaced it what an 8.8 and replaced the NP231 T-Case with an Atlas II.

Still, when all would have been said and done, my Jeep would have been left with a frame and a body costing me $21K for those two things. My plan was to install a 5.0L V8, D44f and NV4500.

You want the Rubicon because it comes stock with D44s front and rear but, DC has had nothing but problems with the Rubicons and especially the D44 front and rear. I'm still an active member of the Jeep BBs and see nothing but problems with them. Though the 4:1 low is impressive when you can get the Jeep to work right... A nice 6" long arm kit and 35s, Warn front and rear bumpers with an HS9500i and you'd be well on your way for a good trail rig. Problem is... It's still a Jeep and it's still very unreliable.

I sent in a pic or two of my Jeep. I'll get them posted later.
