You can thank Geico for helping put radar dectors out there to give you tickets. They don't call it the Geico un for nothing. GEico can kiss my a** Several years ago, before I knew much about them, I actually called to check rates. They asked if I used a radar detector and I said yes. That was the end of the conversation because they said they don't offer insurance (at the time I called anyway) to people using detectors.

In addition to Geico and Old Navy comercials I've now decieded that those Guiness comericials with the two cutouts that say "BRILLIANT" all the time make me want to murder someone as well.

I don't watch TV any more so it's not an issue for me. And between the IE and Norton popup blockers I don't get annoying crap in my face online either. Now all I need is to shell out the $$$ for Sirius so I can eliminate the obnoxious radio ads from my life.

Just looking at this forum it's obvious that most of us have become desensitized to obnoxious ads and commercials. Heck, just look at the huge signatures here (if you haven't disabled them). Unless you change your monitor settings they make it impossible to view this site without scrolling side to side. Just another form of popup ads IMHO.
