Thumbs up Mmmmm....

Fried pickles!

Bowl 1:
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon Worchtshir.. whorshir.... worchishire... I can never say that right.. lol (Worcestershire) sauce

Bowl 2:
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
dash of Tonys seasoning (optional)

1 (32 ounce) jar sliced dill pickles, drained
1 quart vegetable oil for deep-frying

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl, mix together the egg, milk, 1 tablespoon of flour, and Worcestershire sauce. In a separate bowl, stir together the remaining flour, salt, and pepper.
Heat oil to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) in a deep-fryer or heavy deep skillet. Dip pickle slices into the milk mixture, then into the flour mixture. Repeat dipping.
Place the pickles carefully into the hot oil. Avoid over crowding by frying in several batches. Fry until pickles float to the surface, and are golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon, and drain on paper towels.

Hmmm, I've never tried a deep fried pickle before, sounds...different.

The pacifier is a nice touch, you use it often or just when you're frying pickles??

I guess we should go back to eating raw meat like the cavemen since everything after that is "different". LOL

If you ever get a chance to try some fried pickles, you just might be surprised..

There are all kinds of food that I don't like, but I'll try just about anything once..

I'll bet those fried pickles are good... I think you could fry my shoe and it would taste godd. This chick I work with told me she saw a recipe on TV for fried mac and cheese. You take chunks of cold leftover mac and cheese and bread and fry them. Damn that must taste good.
