Internet Problems

Internet Problems

Anyone else having problems with the internet tonight? I have been getting alot of "The page cannot be displayed" messages and when I do connect, it seems slower than normal (I have Comcast high speed internet).

they might be having issues with either DNS or just the connectiong in general would call them and see what's going on.

sometimes when I have issues with comcast cable, I unplug the power cord from the cable modem for about 2 minutes, plug it in and it's good to go.

I have to do it every so often or so.

comcast's modems have to be reset every so often, they like to load up with bs information and quit working. also, if you're getting a lot of page not founds just try restarting your computer. This usually fixes the problems with DNS servers. nothing out of the ordinary.

Everything seems to be back to normal today, I guess Comcast was having a bad day. I will keep in mind the resetting of the modems.....thanks for the replies.
