I'm not sure how many of you remember me from back in 2001/2002 when I was deciding between getting a Ranger, F150 or Explorer Sport Trac for my next lease, but I'm back and here to stay for 2 years at least 
I'm turning in my 4x4 Ranger lease to get a 4x4 F150. Hooray! Even with having to pay off the rest of my Ranger lease (I used up the miles anyway, so it's no big deal) I'll be paying $3 more per month for the F150.

I'm going from a 4x4 Super cab Ranger XLT, 4.0L V6, manual trans, flareside, off road package (now called FX4 Level 1), Mach mp3 player, 3 year lease
to a
4x4 Supercab F150 XLT, 5.4L V8, auto trans, tow package, mirror package, 6 cd mp3 player, fog lamps, shift-on-the-fly, power driver seat, 2 year lease.
On top of that, the sales rep treated me a lot better than my old one (who I only went to because my dad likes him) & I'm put on a better leasing time schedule (starting in January instead of June). Also, my dad said he's more likely to lease a Mustang, which I could borrow, when his Windstar's lease is up if I get a full size truck.
I like my Ranger and all, but Ford munged it up enough with the redesign where I just couldn't pass up this great deal on the F150. Hooray!
Update: Ha ha, I forgot about my F-150 Type R
