Wittnessed a head on accident this mourning
Wow a head on accident happened right in front of me on the way to work. This teenager goes right trough a stop sign, cross traffic and hits head on with the car in my lane. I slowed down to let a dump truck merge into traffic and in front of this dump truck was the car that got hit. If i was in a hurry like normal I would probably been the third car in the accident
. The teenager was unconsiuous, but breathing fine (was a former police officer) so I had some training. I left her with the trucker who stopped as well and told him to not let anybody touch her and just listen to see if her breathing changed or started getting heavy etc. I ran to the other car and there were two passengers. The first was a female and her foot was facing the wrong way and she kept trying to get out of the car. Her father (80 y.o.a) was worse off and kept telling his daughter to shut up and listen to me. He had a broken shoulder and arm I could see the bone sticking up and he was pretty calm considering. When the police arrived the teenager a (girl) was starting to come through and right before the ambo arrived she ends up fighting with me and the police officer and saying she had to leave. We get her calm down and boarded and I spent the next half hour filling out forms. Looks like everybody will be ok but what a way to start out a mourning.

Well, at least no one was killed. Hopefully you have an understanding boss who understood why you were late for work. I've seen some wrecks like that before, and most of the time someone is killed. That girl should be thanking god that she did not kill herself or anyone else.
