Lost a friend today
My worst day in a very long time...I just found out that someone I have been working with for 4 years died this morning. He was getting ready for work this morning and collapsed because of a heart attack. His wife and son were there and performed CPR, keeping him alive until the paramedics arrived. He didn't make it to the hospital.
He was a retired Marine, still supporting his country as a contractor.

This is never a good to lose a friend...I hold mine close...

Sorry for your loss white, thats the hardest thing to do is lose a friend. God bless him!
Got a phone call a couple weeks ago from my mom. A kid i had known all my life, and had been friends with up until about 10th grade, committed suicide. He'd gotten messed up with drugs and other stuff in high school, and had been in and out of treatment for a while. He had lots of help to try and get him off it. Guess he decided it was just too much. Sad story.
We didnt have one person die in our school system until i was a junior in high school. Between that year until i graduated, we had 5 kids die, and Fulton High School was only 600 kids....

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. How awful for his family too. Unexpected death is a hard thing to cope with and it happening this close to the Holidays makes it seem so much worse. My thoughts and prayers are with Rick's family and friends.
