wow i love that red vette....reminds me of what happened this past wkend:

I was traveling south on I-29 into Kansas City and i got passed by a '04 or '05 red vette that was doing 80-90mph, just like that one with 2 people in it. Got back to school 1/2 hour later, turned on the local news, and saw that there was a wreck on 435 in KC that involved a new red corvette. The driver was killed and the only passenger severely injured. They showed pics, and it looked identical to the car that passed me. Im 99% sure it was the car that passed me....

That's pretty morbid Slick!

I hope (and think) that you didn't mean anything harsh by your post.

On the other hand, those who are carelss and don't know how to handle their HP should suffer the consequences.

Well, my wife was busy chattering away with one of her girlfriends and didn't snap the pics of my smoky burnout. I didn't have the presence of mind to photgraph any others and "lie" and say it was mine.

All I can say is that the GM guy riding with me said- "I want you to feather the clutch all the way out, then floor it." I said, 'Floor it?' He said, "Floor it!"

That's exactly what I did. That was the first time I ever kicked 400 horses in the butt at the same time...

This is the most powerful vehicle I've ever driven...
