Some cool features about this car. Every time you open the door, the window go down about a 1/4 inch to clear the rubber seal. It takes some getting used to. IF you hold the unlock button on the keyfob, the windows go down after about ten seconds. To put the back up, you put the key in the door lock and hold it on the locked position.

I traded a 2004 Mach 1 for this car. This car is in no way like the old one except in size. It drives different, rides different, the entire experience is different. The new manual shifter is awesome. Perfect, the seats are perfect and visibility is a ton better. It is extremely well built, not one squeak or rattle and everything in the car feels high quality. The interior is world class, the leather is great, the steering wheel feels great, very good materials used throughout. The paint job is perfect, the gaps on the body panels are even.

I am so impressed with this car, there are no words for it. It is even better than I had hoped it would be. And it looks incredible. I have had no fewer than 100 people approach me for a look at it in the last two days of owning it.

One guy driving a 2000 Camaro SS said "that is the best looking car Ford has ever made and the smartest move they've made" He went on to say that he will own one when the prices come down.

The downside is I paid full sitcker price of $27,850 for this car, but so far it is worth every dime. Realistically, they would sell for much more.

The best part, it's faster than my 2004 Mach 1.

Anyone needing an extra car, the V6 models are selling for around 20 grand, a bargain in todays world.

The first 500 miles in mine has been a pleasure.

27k thats not bad. At my dealer thats about how much the 6 bangers are going for. the GTs? 33+. The saleslady didnt like it when I told her I could just get a 2004 Cobra for cheaper then that.

Nice GT seacrow. Glad you're happy with Ford again. If the economy was really hopping, they wouldn't be able to build them fast enough.

Mustang

Actually, they cannot build them fast enough right now. The dealers around here are getting $3000.00 over sticker because they cannot get any. I am thinking about ordering one, but it would be March or April before I get it.

Remember too guys, you have that grey nasty cold weather up north, it has been sunny and in the 70's here for a while. I had to go back to the dealer today to sign another paper they forgot, there must have been 10 different people looking at the 6 bangers on the back lot.

I saw a yellow GT in NC last week that was marked up 4K over sticker.

The last number I heard is that Ford has sold over 60,000 2005 Mustangs.

This car is gonna be a monumental vehicle like it was in the sixties.

This is the first good car Ford has built in years, IMO. A car good enough to make people switch from imports.

I am getting a lot of looks from the Honda, rice crowd. Some of those kids are growing up and the Mustang is affordable. I think Ford has a whole new market. And I don't know about you but I am getting tired of the nicest vehicles made being trucks.

I also like the Dodge Magnum and Chrysler 300, I think cars like these are the next big hit. The Mustang will be right there with them. The Ford 500 is a really nice car also.

If I see another H2, I am gonna puke. And aren't we all sick of Camry's and Accord's, I know I am.

The new Mustang is more than just a car, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

Don't get me wrong, I still love my F-250 SD, but it was really at a point to where there were no good American cars. Even Cadillac became known for trucks.

My 2004 Mach 1 was a cool car, but not a nice car like the new Stang.

A dealer in town has one '05 GT, red with red leather, flashy dash package and a couple other options, stickered $27K-something and they're asking $4400 over that.

I really like them, but I don't like them enough to put up with a penny pinching greedy *** sales manager. Maybe a year or two down the road.

Sweet Car

I just got a coupon from Ford that entitles me to a $50.00 gas card from BP for taking a test drive in a new Mustang

Iam in the process of dropping approx 10Gs into the motor in my Lightning. Now Iam starting to think reeeeeaaaaaal hard about move. I mean, who couldn't use a new Stang

Those are some really good looking cars. A local dealer here in town had one parked up towards their driveway which is about 150 yards from their showroom. Since it seemed safe I stopped in so I could take a good look at it inside and out.

Very nice looking interior and really nice exterior. As you stated I think Ford has a winner on their hands with this Mustang. I was driving my Lightning at the time and since I was too focused on checking out the GT I didn’t notice a salesman and some young kid come walking up.

Ask me what I think about the Mustang and I tell them it’s really nice. The salesman then ask where did I get the body kit and tires for my F150. I told him it was no kit and that the truck is a Lightning. He and the kid ask what a Lightning is…

The salesman then ask if I have any questions about the GT and I politely stated ”None that I think you could answer…”

Excellent choice in a vehicle...
