FREE SIRIUS sat. radio receiver

just spreading the wealth for anyone interestred. I came across this on MSN's message board for SIRIUS. I jumped on it. I got the car/home receiver for $50 with a one year subscription and got a free car receiver with the second subscription at a 50% discount. Thank You Howard Stern!! I'll put a link to the message board at the end of this post so you don't think this is some kind of scam.

Pay for a one year subscription and get the receiver free plus one additional month of service for free. Buy a second, third or fourth one year subscription and the yearly fee is 50% less.

follow this link to the SIRIUS web site, enter 263 as you promo code. There are two receivers, one is the free car kit and one is car/home kit for $50. Pick the one you want and add it to your basket and follow the steps to check out.

they are on a two week backorder so if you're planning this for christmas you better hurry.

after you enter the promo code hit the "go" button, the screen should refresh. hit the "add to cart button" for the receiver that you want and it should take you to an account logon screen. you have to click on the "i am a new customer" button then click next., choose either one year or life time subscription and click next and then choose a username and password, click next and complete the rest of the info.

if you are still having trouble just give them a call, 1.888.539.7474 and give them the promo code.

hope that helps.

i don't think so. you have to pick a subscription before you check out. they are kind of forcing you to choose a year or lifetime subscription, i guess the receiver is kind like you free gift. if you go thru the regular SIRIUS site the same free receiver is $100.

i was looking at their site this morning and found out that they are also offering a $30 rebate for these receivers. That's not bad considering the receivers are free with the promo. I got two receivers, 1 free and and the home/car kit for $50 + $60 rebate = both receivers for free plus $10 extra in my pocket, now that's a goot deal.

You go boys!! I bought Sirius stock in the low to mid $3 range and it almost hit $7 this week!! Stern and that new CEO is driving it up. Course I'm in long so it's no big deal hopefully it'll be around $10-$15 in a couple of years or so or if it tanks back down to $2-3 range I'll buy more.

Just an FYI... If you buy a lifetime plan with Sirius, it is locked to THAT receiver, the only way it can ever change is if it is damaged, and Sirius deems it unrepairable or something along those lines, but there is no transfering to another unit. So, if you have a Kenwood, you are stuck with Kenwood, etc...

Closer, are you sure about that? I only bought the year subscription, but I have changed receivers twice already. All I had to do was call the toll-free number at Sirius and give them the receiver ID number and they changed it for me with no problems.

Promo not over yet

It looks like this is still a good offer...

Look here--->http://moneycentral.groups.msn.com/S...99437841335263

for these offer codes:

"You can NOW also get a free docking kit either for the car or for the home. When it asks for a referral ID just put in
promo # 341 = Clarion SIRPNP for $49.99 instead of $99.99
Saves $50 plus free docking kit
promo # 362 = Clarion SIRPNP for $49.99 instead of $99.99
Saves $50 plus free docking kit
promo # 123 = Clarion SIRPNP for $49.99 instead of $99.99
Saves $50 plus free docking kit
promo # 111 = Clarion SIRPNP for $49.99 instead of $99.99
Saves $50 plus free docking kit

So then you will get everything you need for $50."

I don't know much about Sirius, but if you wanted to get in on the "263" deal and were too late, these look like similar offers.

Yep, That's what Sirius told me anyway. But that is ONLY on the lifetime plan. I buy the yearly plan, and was thinking about going with the lifetime plan, but also thinking about going away from Kenwood.
