Bird Size

Just curious what size turkey everyone has or is having? I'm going small....'bout 15lbs or so. Only 4 of us total, don't need much.

With about 50-75 family members coming here for Thanksgiving, there will probably be at least 2 20lb+ turkeys here, 1 baked and 1 deep fried. Plus a big ham, a roast and everything else you can imagine.

We're having a big feast as well. I like to stick with a 12 pounder, 14 pounds at the largest...they taste better to me than the really big ones do. We'll do two or three.

I LUVS ME SOME TURKEY-LURKEY!

It's just me and the hubby this year so I tried to find the smallest bird I could. Got an 11 pounder, I like leftovers and all but a 20lb turkey for 2 people?? We'd be eating turkey sandwiches for 6 months!!

Same story as Rose...just my wife and I. We're thawing a 10 pounder right now.

They say size doesn't matter, but clearly it does.
