I went to the bathroom at a BP gas station the other day and saw this written on the wall: "Do not throw toothpicks in the toilet. Crabs can pole vault." No joke.

Wow, that's the first time my very first post got pulled, ever.

So what offended you guys?

The fact that I know someone already here?

Or the fact that I drive a van instead of a pickup? I have had 4 F150's and loved 'em all. Two of 'em had camper shells and got a lot of use fishin' and huntin'. The other two had toolboxes and were used for oil field electrical trucks. I even had 4 Rangers in my electric shop for about 5 years.

I only have a van now because I carry a lot of valuable pieces of gear now and I'd like to keep 'em.

I had a 64.5 Mustang in competition orange, and later a '67 fastback, so it's not like I'm NOT a Ford man.

Now that I think of it, at one time I even had a 1-ton van with 3 on the floor from the factory, but I couldn't quite squeeze it past that 350K mile marker.

I can actually express myself without profanity and I rarely talk politics, so what's the problem here?

No problem, Well I for one welcome you

Dont get your panties in wad since you failed to read the rules of the forum ....wondering "what offended you guys" and "whats the problem here" because your first post was removed.

You dont have to of owned a bunch of junky high mileage trucks to post here and your welcome even though you couldnt afford a new van and had to run it into the ground ( almost 350K )..... Plus, the fact that you can express yourself without profanity is quite an accomplishment no matter what kind of training and or therapy was required....

I hang around more than a few forums and the rules are all pretty much the same, so I don't look much anymore. Also, I don't read the directions when I buy something new. It's a guy thing, I hear.

Growing up a poor Okie, I learned how to squeeze another 100K out of things that most people would send to the crusher. That particular old van hauled me, a bunch of musicians and gear all over the midwest and finally died a year after bringing me to California. It cost me $200 and I sold it to the junkyard for a 12 pack of Bud. Fair and fitting price, I thought.

Training-USMC

Therapy-wife.

Of course, what comes off the ends of my fingers is totally unlike what comes out of my mouth.

Thanks for the welcome!

Girl friends, Fishman, girl friends.
