Texas....we are right at the border to the "3rd world"

 

so I go in today and drop the truck...21/2 to 3 weeks tops...go over to Enterprise to get my 20 bucker and of course it's a Focus...4 door....white...go to work...CCCHHIITT!!! I'm driving along side another F150 and I'm staring at the hub caps...God I hate these low as compacts...get to work and I notice the pass rear low and I pull out the pump and fill it...by the end of the day it's on the rim and ground...so I call the office and he says to call the nearest office and they will bring me another so I call and they say they are on the way and the tow truck shows and they take the other away........tick tick tick...2 hours pass and noone yet so I call and they blow me off and say I need to call where I got it from because they are to busy to bring me one...so I say before I hang up "I just have two words to say darlin' ( I bet she was expecting something else ) ...'customer service' ".
So I call the original office and tell them and they say they'll take care of it...lo and behold 2 minutes later the gal calls back and says she is bringing me a Daewoo and snotty at that. So I call back to the original store and tell them and they say "why don't you take that home then in the morning we want you to come back here and we'll put you in a truck at the same rate as the focus was". Well we'll see how that goes in the morning....My truck???...new fender...new doors...new "A" piller...lift it off the frame and remount it straight( The cab)...'sigh' ...At least I will be in a truck again

 

And the truck is.......a brand new 2005 Super Crew F150...Dark Shadow Gray..man does it ride good....I'm very happy with Enterprise...I only have 2 words to say..."Customer Service!!"
