I am a step ahead of you.

The error message was from my previous 'attempts' to use Outlook. I had another 'account' with 'HTTP' as the Incoming Mail Server.

I am going to try that 1 second deal. I may ask you to send me a message again.

One last question...

After I type my message and click send, do I then have to click send/receive button to actually send it? I hope this makes sense. I just don't want to be thinking that I sent the thing when it's just out in la-la land somewhere.

I guess I could always check the Outbox?

When I send out a message I Hold the Ctrl button down and hit Enter

If the message appears in your SENT ITEMS or didnt get any errors.....your good to go.

OUTBOX is messages waiting to be sent. Leave those alone. Unless you get an error stating the message could NOT be sent (for what ever reason). Then you will need to delete that message "hung" in your outbox.

But you should be good to go now. I got your reply, and my message went out without errors.
