Added a Commuting Vehicle

05 Chevy Cavalier
Sticker $16,100
Paid $7600 + tax

At that price, I couldn't pass it up when something decent used was going to run around that. Chevy is giving these things away to make way for the Cobalt.

Now the Lightning can go through winter without seeing snow. Same for the Z.

How in the hell did you get it for that price? You had to have had a trade or $$ down.

No Trade and $0 Down..

16,100
- 500 off MSRP
- 5000 rebate
- 3000 GM Card Earnings
=$7600

To get all the rebates, we had to finance with GM @ 7.25% (the best rate for this deal, we have 750+ credit scores). No matter, in two months I'll refi it to the credit union for 4.25%.

Wow. Can't argue with that. New 'beater' car for winter for $7600...
